Style Scout Events was born in 2024, as post-lockdown life returned and the design community craved meaningful ways to reconnect through industry events and inspiring community showcases.
Built on education, passion and networking (with a healthy dose of great style, food and company), founder & director Leia Bright took the leap while working in business development and social media strategy within the industry —Planning & Hosting events, bringing the Interior Design, Architecture and Construction industries together under inspiring roofs with some of the industry
Our events go far beyond the standard showroom gathering, creating unmissable industry experiences that welcome everyone from students new to the field through to seasoned professionals.
Style Scout Bridal Events
Style Scout Events is growing in 2026 to embrace Melbourne’s Bridal and Wedding industry—made for style-led brides and grooms-to-be.
After planning my own wedding in 2025 (in under 12 months and under $50k) using the dream suppliers on my wishlist, I started sharing the tips, tricks, and insider know-how from my event experience and industry connections so other couples could do the same.
Now, I’ve scouted Melbourne’s must-know wedding knowledge and contacts into a directory—plus a bridal blog, templates, tools, and more.

Meet Me
I’m Leia Bright, a Melbourne-based event planner and the founder of Style Scout Events.
For the past eight years I’ve been mastering the art of Business Development in the Interior Design, Architecture and Construction industry —building strong connections, learning the ins & outs of the space, and bringing people together in ways that are both strategic and genuinely fun.
Two years ago I launched Style Scout Events to step into the PR and events world, and as my career has evolved into marketing management and strategy within the same industries, so has my skillset in brand promotion, storytelling, and creating experiences that actually leave a mark.
Last year (now coming up to our one-year anniversary!) I planned my own wedding utilising my events knowledge & connections; to my husband, Ryleigh, also part of the Style Scout team helping with event operations to keep everything running seamlessly.
When I’m not scouting venues, suppliers, and styling ideas, you’ll find me with my two pups—Lowe the Golden and Koda the Rottie —or deep into a new graphic or product design process, or creating content.
